Originally from Sorrento, on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, I have lived in many places in our beautiful country, and now live at Mudjimba, on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland.
I run workshops from Brisbane Institute of Art in Windsor, Brisbane,on a regular basis and I also run ongoing workshops at my home studio at Mudjimba, . Details of these workshops are on the news and workshops page of this website.
I have completed 20 solo exhibitions, and 5 joint exhibitions in South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales, and to date have received 40 awards over a 20 year period in Queensland.
I work and teach across a range of mediums including acrylic, watercolour, pastels and oils, but I also work and teach drawing using a wide of drawing media including graphite, charcoal, pen and wash and mixed media. I teach from beginners through to advanced levels in Drawing and Painting.
I love to work in a range of topics i.e. figurative, portraiture, equine art, but my preferred choice is marine and maritime art, having spent most of my life by the ocean, involved in surfing and an absolute love for that environment.
I am a member of Australian Society of Marine Artists and Royal Queensland Art Society.
